About Us  Superior is a growing oilfield services company operating in many of the significant oil and natural gas producing regions of the United States, providing oil and gas companies with technical pumping and down-hole surveying services. We compete with our larger peers by offering technologically advanced equipment and services at competitive prices, with an emphasis on safety and highly responsive customer service. With regard to many of our smaller peers, we compete by offering specialized equipment and service solutions that many of these smaller independents cannot, or do not, offer. Our ability to provide multiple services allows us to maximize efficiency, reduce lead times and provide cost effective solutions for our customers. Superior's growth strategy is centered upon identifying and pursuing opportunities in markets where we can capitalize on our competitive advantages to establish a significant market presence. Since 1997, our operations have expanded from two service centers in the Appalachian region to 25 service centers scattered across the nation, providing coverage across 38 states. Our most recent growth has been through our four newest service centers in West Virginia, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico and the recent acquisitions of substantially all the operating assets of Patterson Wireline L.C.C. in Colorado and ELI Wireline Services, Inc. in Kansas. Our customer base has grown from 89 customers in 1999 to over 600 customers today. The majority of our customers are regional, independent oil and natural gas companies. We serve these customers in key markets in many of the active domestic oil and natural gas producing regions, including the Appalachian, Mid-Continent, Rocky Mountain, Southeast and Southwest regions. Historically, our expansion strategy has been to establish new service centers as our customers expand their operations into new markets. Once we establish a service center in a new market, we seek to grow our operations at that service center by attracting new customers and experienced local personnel.We plan to commence operations in two additional service centers during the fourth quarter of 2007. The new service center in the Southwest region is located in Artesia, New Mexico and the new service center in the Rocky Mountain region is located in Rock Springs, Wyoming. |
